ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
This is a genuine Mercedes-Benz Accelerator Pedal Kick-Down Switch. This part is located behind the accelerator pedal and sticks out about halfway from the carpet. The rest of the part is behind the carpet in a metal bracket that holds it in place. This switch is depressed when the gas pedal is pressed to the floor. A "click" of the switch is felt, and then it tells the transmission that a "kick-down" or downshift is needed. It is typically used for passing other vehicles and puts you in a better torque range to do so.
The kick-down switch is easily replaced by removing the carpet to reveal the entire switch in the metal bracket. Next, you press on the two clips to remove it from the bracket and unplug the cable connected to the switch. Finally, follow these steps in reverse with your new kick-down switch, ensuring that the two clips snap into the bracket.

*We strive to ship all of our orders as soon as possible. Most packages will ship the same day, and weekend orders will ship on Monday morning. Please note that due to the different country postal systems involved with the shipping, expect any First Class shipment to take an average of 3 weeks. These packages are not trackable once they leave the United States.
It would be the responsibility of the buyer to pay any customs or duty charges. It is helpful if you include a contact number and email address to your order so you can be contacted with any issues.
