ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
This is a genuine Mercedes-Benz Adaptive Damping Suspension Switch for R129 SL-Class vehicles. This part is found on the center console beneath the radio controls. This system in the vehicle is also referred to as "ADS". ADS is the hydraulic suspension system that came stock on the SL600, and was an option on other R129s.
The switch has two different settings:
- When the top position is engaged, the ADS system is in sport mode, firming up the suspension and lighting up the indicator on the switch.
- The bottom position is used for regular driving, and softens the suspension. No indicator light will be visible in this mode.
A functioning ADS system on the R129 will automatically adjust to the optimal ride stiffness based on driving style and conditions.

International orders are typically shipped with USPS. There are three options for international shipping:
- USPS First Class*
- USPS Priority International
- USPS Priority Express International
*USPS First Class is the cheapest shipping option and could take a few weeks to arrive. This option comes with tracking information, however, it only is available within the United States. Once the package has left the United States, it is unable to be tracked.

If you have ordered the wrong color in any of our Classic Trim Parts branded parts, you are eligible for an exchange to receive the correct color.
